Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming and informative shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection based on individual needs and preferences. Educate customers about different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized display of products, ensuring proper merchandising standards are met. Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling products when appropriate. Adhere to all compliance regulations related to the sale of cannabis products. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for inventory management. Ability to operate computers and POS systems effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality or leadership roles is advantageous. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for product stocking and inventory management. A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains is highly desirable. Pay: $17.75-$23.30 per hour
