We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. You will play a vital role in educating customers about various strains, products, and their effects, ensuring a positive shopping experience in a retail environment.
Duties
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide detailed information about cannabis products, including strains, effects, and usage.
Utilize POS systems for processing transactions and managing inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and product displays.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies.
Assist with merchandising efforts to promote new products and seasonal offerings.
Perform heavy lifting as needed for product stocking and inventory management.
Keep accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and customer interactions through filing and computer operation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for reporting purposes.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Ability to operate POS systems effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
Experience in hospitality or leadership roles is beneficial.
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
