Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent hospitality throughout their visit. Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates. Assist customers in making informed decisions by understanding their preferences and needs. Process transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring efficient check-out experiences. Upsell products by promoting special deals and new arrivals to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including product displays and inventory management. Handle heavy lifting of product shipments and restock shelves as needed. File necessary documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively serve multiple customers simultaneously. Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Knowledge of cannabis products and regulations is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $17.85-$18.85 per hour
