Job Description

Sessions Cannabis is seeking passionate individuals with cannabis knowledge for the role of Budtender. As a brand ambassador, you'll provide excellent customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and contribute to a positive community environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the day. Confidently represent the Sessions brand and values. Educate customers on cannabis products and safe consumption. Facilitate cannabis sales by discussing products and accessories with customers. Stay updated on industry trends and new products. Use a cannabis-compliant POS system and cash register efficiently. Organize, receive, and categorize cannabis products and accessories. Maintain daily cleanliness of the store. Check IDs for customers appearing 30 years old or younger. Follow all company policies and procedures. Adhere to provincial and federal cannabis regulations. Participate in company and LP training initiatives.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of retail experience preferred. Valid CannSell certification. Clean criminal background check. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Availability for shifts between 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, Monday to Sunday. Basic math skills and cashier proficiency. Cannabis knowledge and community connection are assets. Must be 19+.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs. Perform tasks related to stocking and store maintenance.
