Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on product options, and assist with retail sales in a professional and welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Fluency in English is required; bilingual abilities including French are a plus. The Budtender will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their needs and preferences Educate customers on product effects, strains, dosages, and consumption methods Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked Manage inventory levels through proper filing and stock rotation procedures Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to security protocols Assist with basic computer operation tasks including Microsoft Office applications like Excel for reporting purposes Support team leadership in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality environments; prior experience as a Budtender is preferred Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities including French are advantageous Proficiency with POS systems, computer operation, Microsoft Office (Excel), and basic math skills Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., restocking supplies) Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and filing tasks Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining compliance with regulations Bilingual capabilities (English/French) are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele Strong time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and safety protocols is preferred but not required; training will be provided

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
