Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment within our dispensary. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for the industry, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued, along with experience in retail sales, hospitality, or related fields. This position offers an engaging work environment where professionalism and organizational skills are essential.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences and needs Provide detailed product information, including effects, strains, and consumption methods Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary display areas and storage spaces Manage inventory levels through filing and merchandising to ensure product availability Educate customers on responsible consumption and compliance with legal regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service standards Utilize computer skills such as Microsoft Office and Excel for reporting or administrative tasks as needed Handle heavy lifting when necessary for stock replenishment or inventory management

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for transactions Multilingual capabilities (English required; French or other languages are a plus) to serve diverse clientele effectively Strong communication skills to educate customers clearly and professionally Organizational skills for managing inventory, filing, and merchandising tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and stand for extended periods during shifts Experience with computer operation, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), and general computer skills is advantageous Leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are considered a plus but are not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
