As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and their effects will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience.
Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols.
Maintain an organized and clean display of products to enhance the shopping experience.
Upsell products by recommending complementary items based on customer interests.
Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies.
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality is preferred.
Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
Basic math skills for accurate cash management and product pricing.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory and store displays effectively.
Ability to engage with customers professionally while providing personalized service.
Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain product features clearly.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
