Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a welcoming environment in our dispensary. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to handle various retail tasks efficiently. Multilingual abilities and experience in retail or hospitality are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized guidance on cannabis products based on their preferences and needs Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and product effects to support informed purchasing decisions Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Upsell products effectively to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the dispensary is clean, welcoming, and compliant with safety standards Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with product filing and record keeping Handle cash register operations with accuracy and professionalism Support team members in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment Follow all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and ensure compliance at all times

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients Experience with retail sales, cashiering, or hospitality environments preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word; familiarity with POS systems and computer operation required Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and inventory counts Organizational skills for merchandising, filing, and maintaining a tidy workspace Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., stocking supplies) Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
