The Spot 420 Cannabis store is looking to hire for our store in Etobicoke.

Spot 420 is looking for someone that has previous retail/hospitality experience and is knowledgeable on legal cannabis products/brands with the intention of providing more for the customer than just a sale but an experience. Our goal is to provide customers with only the finest products, with our knowledgeable and personable team to assist with each individual need.

Thank you for your interest in joining our team. All applicants must be the minimum age of 19 with flexible availability with varying shifts including days, evenings, and weekends with the store being open every day. This role will initially be part-time casual with the opportunity to transition to a full-time employee. Experience:

- Customer service and interpersonal skills (preferred)

- Cannabis retail experience is an asset

- Inventory or stocking of a retail store is an asset

- Cashier experience or sales positions is an asset

Qualifications:

- 19+

- Cannsell certified

Criminal background check certified

- At least 1 year of cannabis retail management experience or retail experience

- Experience opening and closing store

- Experience with cash handling and management

Schedule:

6-8 hour shift

Day shift

Evenings

Monday to Friday

Weekend availability

Holidays

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Check customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.

Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on the different strains of cannabis and customer's preferences.

Accurately process customers' payments using the business' Point of Sale (POS) system.

Take inventory of cannabis products and ensure that the sales floor is adequately stocked.

Seek to convert customer needs into sales by employing business processes.

Provide excellent customer service at all times

Work with team members to achieve the goals of the business

Ensure that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized
