Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and assist with sales in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse clientele. Multilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or hospitality are highly valued to enhance customer engagement and support organizational goals.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend suitable cannabis products and accessories. Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, effects, and dosage guidelines. Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management. Upsell products by identifying customer preferences and suggesting additional items to enhance their experience. Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and customer interactions through computer operation and filing systems. Ensure the retail space is organized, clean, and well-merchandised according to company standards. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising efforts. Uphold compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and store policies. Support team leadership in maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality environments preferred. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for record keeping and reporting. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Ability to operate POS systems efficiently and perform cashiering duties confidently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and filing tasks. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting while maintaining professionalism. Capable of heavy lifting when necessary for stocking shelves or moving inventory items. Knowledge of computer skills including general computer operation is essential. Demonstrated ability to upsell products while providing exceptional customer service. Experience or background in the cannabis industry is advantageous but not required; training will be provided on product knowledge and compliance standards. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.35 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
