Edmonton Cannabis is a local family owned and operated company, currently with two fully operating retail cannabis stores located in Edmonton.

We are looking to hire for a Full-Time Position, strictly to individuals with past experience in Retail Cannabis Stores / Cannabis Customer Services.

! We need someone who will be committed to attend to their daily shifts, with availability of working a minimum of 5 days a week, preferably with no restrictions towards working weekends as well.

The Budtender will be responsible for greeting customers, providing guidance on the choice for cannabis and have knowledge on the products available in store. This role requires customer service and the skills to build customer relations through product and know the products we have available to upscale the sales and provide proper recommendations to customers.

Greet customers and provide guidance on where they may find cannabis menus within the store Have knowledge on cannabis accessories and their correct usage Assist each customer in finding the right product or a similar one Manage POS systems for transactions: sales, voids, discounts and promotions Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal age to purchase cannabis Basic math skills: count and handle cash and count till float Monthly inventory counts Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures Maintain store cleanliness during shift Provide excellent customer service and have the ability to stay calm with customers Have passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to learn about new items that are brought in each week
Requirements:

Valid Sell safe & QCW (Qualified Cannabis Worker) Certification 18+ Years Old Have a source of reliable transportation Flexible schedule availability Be able to works holidays (with holiday pay) Available to work weekends Retail cannabis experience/retail experience Comfortable working independently and completing daily tasks Willing to stay for at least 6 months Casual dress 10% Store employee discount

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift On call Weekends as needed
