Job Description

Warmland Cannabis Centres is looking for retail sales associates to join our team of cannabis professionals. We are currently looking to fill shifts at our Cobble Hill and Mill Bay stores. Please apply in person with resume and cover letter, or by email (ruby@warmlandcannabis.com).

Responsibilities:

assisting in opening and closing the store handling cash, operating cash registers and POS system (currently Cova), managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers customer service and education, including addressing concerns and complaints checking ID and ensuring compliance in all transactions continuously updating knowledge of the company products, services, and policies understanding and adhering to all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures maintaining the presentation of the store, products, signage, and displays maintaining a positive attitude, attention to detail, and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced. evolving environment unpack, sort, count, label, and arrange merchandise as directed effectively complete assigned duties while prioritizing customer service reply to customer phone and email inquiries using cloud-based productivity tools (training provided) walking and standing for extended periods of time, some heavy lifting

Required work experience:

Minimum 2 years retail sales preferred

Skills/Education/Requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent excellent customer service product knowledge and interest (cannabis, related accessories) willingness to learn team player dependable able to accommodate fluctuating schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, evolving environment self-motivated, able to work independently and know when to seek guidance multitasking organized and neat time management skills good listening and communication skills, verbal and written computer literacy age 19+ and able to legally work in Canada bondable Selling It Right
