Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers about our offerings. This role involves assisting customers in selecting products, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Bilingual skills and previous retail experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Educate customers on product features, effects, and usage through product demos and consultations Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and stock rotation Conduct product demos to inform customers about new or featured items Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries and providing information remotely Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store or similar retail environment Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product details and effects is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to upsell, merchandise effectively, and provide excellent customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
