Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your role will involve educating customers about various strains, products, and consumption methods, as well as maintaining a welcoming and organized environment.

Duties

Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Educate customers on different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs. Operate the POS system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain an organized display of merchandise and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as needed to stock shelves and manage inventory. Upsell products by effectively communicating benefits and features to customers. Keep accurate records of sales transactions and assist with filing as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus (multilingual candidates encouraged to apply). Experience in retail sales or hospitality is preferred, showcasing strong customer service abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for inventory management. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to operate computers effectively for various tasks including filing and record keeping. Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Leadership qualities that contribute positively to team dynamics and store operations. Experience with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal. Pay: From $15.00 per hour
