Position Overview:
As a part-time team member, you will be responsible for fulfilling the duties of three key positions within the store:
Sales Associate
: You will engage directly with customers, providing exceptional service and knowledgeable advice on our range of cannabis products and accessories. This includes guiding customers through product selections based on their needs, processing sales transactions at the Point of Sale (POS), and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable purchasing experience. Your ability to deliver accurate and compliant information will be essential in fostering customer trust and satisfaction.
Floater
: As a Floater, you will act as a key support on the sales floor, ensuring that all customer needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. You will assist customers in navigating self-serve kiosks, answer questions about products and accessories, and help with order placements. Your role is to maintain a fluid customer experience while managing multiple touchpoints within the store.
ID Checker
: In this role, you are the first point of contact for customers entering the store. Your primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with provincial laws by verifying that all customers meet the legal age requirement for cannabis purchases. This role is critical to upholding the store's adherence to legal and regulatory standards, and it requires vigilance, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at the Point of Sale (POS).
Provide informed responses to customer inquiries, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge about cannabis strains, accessories, and responsible consumption.
Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, provincial regulations, and operational standards related to the sale of cannabis.
Assist with maintaining a well-organized, clean, and welcoming store environment, including the stockroom and sales floor.
Assemble and package customer orders efficiently and accurately.
Receive and manage inventory shipments, restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels as needed.
Report any discrepancies in inventory to the store management team promptly.
Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by store management to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
CannSell License
(mandatory)
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, with a minimum of 1 year preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in ensuring compliance with cannabis regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
A team-oriented mindset, with flexibility to adapt to different roles within the store as needed.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

$17.50 per hour
