The Opportunity

The Budtender will help provide our customers with a superior experience through information, exceptional service and the highest quality cannabis. This position is responsible for all sales activity, remaining knowledgeable on products, assessing customer needs, helping, and maintaining sales floor presentations and stock.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store

\xc2\xb7 Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns

\xc2\xb7 Staying up to date on offers and specials

\xc2\xb7 Responding to member inquiries with comprehensive knowledge and accuracy

\xc2\xb7 Receiving and documenting inventory accurately

\xc2\xb7 Processing and filing member paperwork with all provided information

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining sales goals on a daily and weekly basis

\xc2\xb7 Closing and completing all end of day reports and procedures

\xc2\xb7 Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing government issued photo identification to validate permission to enter

\xc2\xb7 Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to and uphold our Loss Prevention policies and procedures

\xc2\xb7 Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances.

\xc2\xb7 Greet all guests promptly

\xc2\xb7 Clearly and articulately provide information to guests in an engaging manner

\xc2\xb7 Know all safety and security protocols, should they be needed

\xc2\xb7 Ensure store is clean and tidy

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned

Experience

\xc2\xb7 Previous retail or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred

\xc2\xb7 Be at least 19 years of age

\xc2\xb7 Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills

\xc2\xb7 Works well with others, alone and with little supervision

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, strains and products

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and charisma

\xc2\xb7 Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm

\xc2\xb7 Energetic and highly determined

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Retail Cannabis an asset

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier)

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable working variable shifts, including evenings and weekends

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable lifting and unpacking boxes that may weigh 5-30 lbs

\xc2\xb7 Bonus points if you\xe2\x80\x99ve worked in a regulated environment before
