The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated
Budgeting & Analytics Analyst (or Senior Analyst, depending on experience)
to join our finance team. This role is central to shaping Devon's budgeting, forecasting, and analytics platform, supporting both our business growth strategy and our clients' investment objectives. The successful candidate will be a CPA-designated finance professional with strong analytical skills, proven experience in financial modeling, and an interest in real estate and institutional client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across our managed portfolio of multi-family rental properties and commercial real estate.
Prepare and present quarterly and annual performance packages, including variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Partner with operations, leasing, and corporate development teams to align financial forecasts with business strategies.
Prepare financial analysis and presentations for client reporting and internal updates.
Support ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and corporate initiatives, including acquisitions and new developments.
Qualifications
CPA designation required, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2-5 years of progressive FP&A or real estate finance experience; institutional real estate exposure is an asset.
Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data into clear insights.
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Compensation
$70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
