Job Overview


We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, and hard-working Full or Part Time team members to work flexible shifts between 9:30am - 11:30pm Monday - Sunday, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. We expect our CoCo Baristas to be able to work in a fast-paced social environment that delivers a world class guest experience. Each CoCo Barista is a brand ambassador for the biggest bubble tea provider in the world, and is expected to be able to provide the customer care and the quality of product to match. Can Walk-In during weekend afternoons.

Responsibilities



Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the CoCo brand.

Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.

Prepare hot/cold, tea/non-tea-based quality beverages consistently to customers by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards as set forth by CoCo's standards and customer modifications.

Prepare toppings and brewing tea from CoCo's standard recipes.

Use the POS system to help customers order and input online/delivery app orders.

Anticipates customer needs by identifying cues.

Being proactive in maintaining front- and back-of-house needs by constantly evaluating the environment.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Follow the health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Requirements



Assists with a variety of bar-related functions as needed, including lifting boxes of store ingredients to replenish stock

Constant computer/POS Register and bar equipment usage

Be able to stand for 6-8-hour shifts with frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine

Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around the bar area

Constantly receiving detailed information through oral or written communication, including during training sessions

Nice to Haves



At least one year of previous experience working in a tea/coffee shop, or other front-of-house customer facing experience in the food service industry

Able to communicate clearly and confidently in English (Required), other languages an asset

Ability to learn quickly and recall multiple recipes/procedures required in crafting quality drinks that our customers are expected to order on a daily basis

Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 hours per week
