We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brunch Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional brunch experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. The Brunch Chef will play a key role in menu planning, inventory control, and maintaining a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Lead and supervise the brunch kitchen team, ensuring efficient kitchen operations and excellent food quality
Plan and develop innovative brunch menus that align with restaurant standards and customer preferences
Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy brunch hours
Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques
Monitor shift management to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency
Supervise catering or special event preparations as needed
Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction through quality food service
Experience
Proven banquet experience with a strong background in brunch service.
Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
Experience in inventory management, food handling, and food safety protocols
Background in restaurant management or food service management is preferred
Knowledge of the food industry trends, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards
Prior experience with shift management, team management, and inventory control is highly desirable
