Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water safety, enhancing swimming skills, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each participant. Teach fundamental swimming techniques, water safety skills, and stroke improvement to students of varying ages and abilities. Create engaging lesson plans that promote skill development while ensuring a fun and supportive atmosphere. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a safe and clean environment in the pool area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, concerns, or recommendations for further development. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance teaching methods and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in teaching swimming or coaching is preferred but not required. Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various techniques effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Patience and adaptability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels. Certification in CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguarding is a plus but can be obtained after hiring. A passion for water safety and promoting healthy lifestyles through swimming.
