Job Summary





To process customs clearance (release) and/or confirm declarations for repetitive and non-complex shipments, guided by the CCBS system and personal skills.

Clients (Internal/External): Import Operations, Support Services, Consulting, Inbound Services, Sales, etc., as well as all customs clients and partners.

Specific Output or Services:

Customs release and/or confirmation of declarations for repetitive and non-complex shipments using the client's profile in the CCBS system (create or modify line codes/classifications). Handle delivery services and/or import permit requests when required and/or gather and submit proper documentation to government authorities.

Job Type:

Full-Time / Permanent



Workdays:

Monday to Friday (must be able to work all 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST

(must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week)

Shift Duration:

8 hours per day (requires flexibility with start and finish times)

Work Location:

(REMOTE)

Starting Pay:

17.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Data entry (open customer files, validate information, credit and invoicing). Collect supplementary information or documentation from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices when required. Identify discrepancies in customer profiles. Answer standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices. Work as a team member with other stakeholders: clients, UPS SCS employees, carriers, and inbound agents.

Requirements

6 months to 2 years of experience. High school diploma. Bilingualism required - intermediate level (Quebec only). Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments. Basic understanding of the HS system. Basic computer skills
