  • Receive and track various forms of broadcast material, taking requests and the programming schedule into consideration
  • Manage priorities and assign tasks to various operators via monday
  • Coordinate quality control before programs are broadcast and follow up with producers when refused
  • Conduct various IBMS searches to provide follow-up
  • Receive channel and Noovo-Info autopromos
  • Coordinate autopromo subtitling
  • Verify the information entered and send broadcast reports to the various teams
  • Follow up on technical issues with the engineering department
  • Keep broadcast standards, rules and procedures up to date and follow up with department employees on a regular basis
  • Understand all job duties and responsibilities of a broadcast operator
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new devices and peripherals related to the field of broadcasting
  • Carry out any other related tasks
Qualifications
  • D.C.S. in media arts and technology, audiovisual option or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in post-production and/or television broadcasting
  • Relevant coordination experience
  • In-depth knowledge of video post-production
  • Very good ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Good people skills, resourcefulness, keen sense of customer service and ability to communicate and maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Know how to quickly identify problems and find creative and ingenious solutions
  • Be a good communicator, a positive leader and have good team spirit
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Experience as an assistant editor and/or broadcast operator is an asset
  • Be on the lookout for new technologies and trends in the field of broadcasting
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and basic fluency in spoken and written English
  • In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
