We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other machinery safely and efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay informed about new products, seasonal offerings, and coffee trends to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A passion for coffee and beverage preparation, along with a willingness to learn about different brewing methods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge of food safety standards is a plus. Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
