Bridge Inspector

Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Bridge Inspector in our Edmonton office.

You will have an opportunity to work on a wide array of bridge projects. Depending on the candidate, the position may include completing bridge inspections and reporting, supporting design teams in standard bridge and culvert designs, and providing construction inspection for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction.

You will engage in a collaborative work environment with your team, as well as other disciplines and offices. This opportunity will involve growing and mentoring staff, working with senior staff to grow the transportation structures practice.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution or Civil Engineering/Architectural Technology Diploma from an accredited technical institute.
  • Registered, or eligible to be registered with APEGA or ASET.
  • Class B or Class A Alberta Transportation Bridge Inspector Certificate.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
  • Consulting experience is an asset.
  • This position will require travel throughout Alberta.
  • Valid driver's license.
