AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Bridge EIT for immediate employment for the Regina, SK office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

• Assist in the structural analysis and preparation of design calculations
• Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans
• Prepare geometric / bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations
• Strong technical and communication skills with a commitment to quality
• Familiarity with CSA S6 design and standards preferred
• Computer skills desired include Finite Element Software, Bridge Design Software, Mathcad, Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting
• Shop drawing review
• Assisting in maintaining project documentation
• Working in the field performing hands-on bridge inspections
• Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
• Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records
• Project Management and Project Management data input Design of utility protection and relocation
• Proposal Development
• External Stakeholder Communication and Correspondence
• Cost estimates
• Evaluate technical alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other disciplines
• Work in a team environment, collaborating with Project Managers and organizing and directing junior / technical staff
• Prepare technical memoranda outlining design options, impacts, and recommendation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering + 2+ years of Structural Engineering Experience EIT in Saskatchewan or eligible for licensing

• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with municipal and road authority standards
• Experience with Bridge Engineering
• Ability to travel
• Surveying experience
• Construction field experience
• Knowledge of Tendering and Procurement processes
• Knowledge of Asset Management
• Strong Technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently
