We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for building, restoring, and renovating structures using various materials, primarily brick. Your expertise will contribute to the quality and durability of our projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Build and repair walls, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Restore existing masonry structures by repairing or replacing damaged bricks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete masonry tasks. Apply caulking as needed to ensure proper sealing of joints. Operate heavy equipment as required for specific projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with various masonry techniques and materials. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction sites.
