Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including new builds, renovations, and restorations. The Brick Mason will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other materials to construct walls, arches, and other structures.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications Lay bricks, blocks, and other materials according to established standards Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting and shaping materials Perform caulking and sealing as required for weatherproofing structures Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion Operate heavy equipment when necessary for transporting materials Conduct renovations and restorations on existing structures while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to masonry work Strong knowledge of construction techniques and masonry practices Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience in renovation and restoration projects is preferred Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints effectively Capability to operate heavy equipment safely when required Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
