Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Brick and Stone Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in masonry, concrete work, and general construction practices. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and interested in developing skills in various aspects of building and restoration projects. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge in masonry, concrete finishing, and related trades within a dynamic construction environment.

Duties

Assist with bricklaying, stone setting, and other masonry tasks under supervision Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Support concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation processes Aid in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for construction projects Participate in renovation, restoration, and new construction activities Help with framing, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, and caulking as needed Support tile laying, trim carpentry, roofing preparation, and other finishing tasks Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the construction site

Requirements

Basic knowledge of construction or masonry preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is a plus Ability to read blueprints or schematics is advantageous Prior experience on a construction site or in related trades such as carpentry or roofing is beneficial Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods Valid (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one prior to employment

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
