Tanner & Co Brewing is a small, community-focused brewery dedicated to producing the finest craft beer using locally sourced ingredients. We take pride in our commitment to quality, sustainability, and the artistry that goes into creating each batch of our premium brews. Our brewery is deeply rooted in the local community, and we are passionate about showcasing the flavors and stories that make our region unique.

We're looking for an energetic, hardworking individual with a passion for beer and a strong interest in marketing and branding. This person must love to talk about beer, entertain people and help to promote our brand. This is a multifaceted full-time role predominently in sales but also filling in at farmers markets and brewery as needed. This person will be responsible for licensee sales in the province, as well as maintaining our relationship with NSLC stores.

Duties Include:



- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets within the province.

- Building and nurturing strong relationships with local bars, restaurants, retailers, and distributors to increase sales and brand visibility.

- Conducting product presentations and tastings to educate clients about our premium craft beers and our commitment to local ingredients.

- Collaborating with the team to develop compelling sales materials and promotions that highlight our unique offerings.

- Attending industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities to represent Tanner & Co and network within the craft beer community. Introduce and maintain relationships with bars and restaurants via in-person, email and phone.

-Liaise with brewery staff on a regular basis to plan for sales needs

- Occasional Retail sales & service at the taproom and brewery to cover days off or busy times

- Develop and facilitate special events/tastings onsite or with restaurants & bars to promote our products

- Occasionally working local farmers' market(s) and special tasting events

- Track & report activities, goals, and market feedback

Skills & Qualifications:



- Must be 19 yrs or older

- Ability to safely lift 60lbs

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.

- Able to work different shift times, from early morning starts to the occasional late evening event. A usual sales shift starts at 9am.

- Previous customer service, merchandising, hospitality industry and/or sales experience is an asset

- Beer sales experience preferred but not necessary

- Reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license and good driving record

- A self-starter with a great work ethic and a willingness to grow

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals company-wide

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and various software and databases.

- Ability to effectively communicate with team members in a respectful and timely fashion.

- A genuine passion for craft beer and a deep appreciation for the use of local ingredients.
