We are an Alberta-based craft brewery seeking an experienced
Office & Distribution Manager
to join our team on a
part-time basis
, with the opportunity to grow into a
full-time role
as the business expands. This position supports office administration, inventory management using
EKOS
, distribution coordination, light bookkeeping and payroll, and
AGLC compliance
.
The ideal candidate has experience in the beverage alcohol industry, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on craft brewery environment.
Responsibilities
Office & Administration
Manage day-to-day office and administrative tasks
Maintain accurate records for production, sales, inventory, and compliance
Support management with operational and financial reporting
Inventory & EKOS
Manage inventory, production, and sales data using
EKOS software
Reconcile raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory
Generate inventory, sales, and compliance reports
Distribution & Logistics
Coordinate distribution orders, deliveries, and logistics
Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and order confirmations
Liaise with retailers, wholesalers, and logistics partners
Light Bookkeeping & Payroll
Perform light bookkeeping duties including invoicing, accounts receivable, and expense tracking
Assist with payroll processing, time tracking, and employee records
Coordinate with external accountants or bookkeepers as required
AGLC Compliance
Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations and reporting requirements
Prepare and submit required AGLC reports accurately and on time
Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in a brewery, distillery, or beverage alcohol environment
Hands-on experience with
EKOS inventory software (required)
Working knowledge of
AGLC compliance and reporting
Experience with inventory control, distribution coordination, and administrative support
Exposure to bookkeeping and payroll functions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with accounting or payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, Push)
Experience working with Alberta liquor retailers or wholesalers
Familiarity with craft brewery production workflows
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
