Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and guest satisfaction Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; knowledge of the food industry is a plus Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance
