Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, positive, team-orientated

Breakfast Server

to join our team. As a Breakfast Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for breakfast

- Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner according to standards

- Greet customers and present breakfast buffet with different options available

- Take food and beverage orders, as required

- Ensure accurate billing and process payments

- Maintain cleanliness and reset according to standards in the restaurant

- Assist with food preparation when needed

- Cleans area around buffet by wiping, sweeping and/or mopping.

- Frequently checks buffet line for low food supply. Efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.

- Removes leftover food at end of breakfast shift.

- Cleans buffet area according to established hotel & Health standards.

- Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift, and tables are set according to standards/needs

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of basic math for order taking and billing

- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Strong hospitality skills with a customer focused

- Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with the food industry and service standards

- Standing and walking for long periods of time

- Available to work early mornings, and weekends
