Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a new restaurant . As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. Your ability to manage time effectively, communicate with guests, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide detailed menu information and recommend items to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Experience in kitchen operations is a plus, along with an understanding of sanitation standards. Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
