We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Manage tables efficiently, ensuring timely service and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders and special requests. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling standards.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience preferred, with familiarity in the food industry. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Pay: $17.60-$28.15 per hour
