Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure all tables are attended to in a timely manner.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is an asset. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
