Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team at our Greenwich location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment where teamwork and communication are essential. The Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes. Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with other staff members. Attention to detail in both cooking techniques and presentation of dishes.
