Breakfast Bar Attendants are responsible for providing superior guest service to all hotel guests, serving guests in a cheerful, friendly and professional manner. Other responsibilities include daily set-up, tear down of the breakfast bar and to maintain all eating and serving areas in accordance with hotel standards and guidelines. Proper storage, handling, and control of food products, utensils and equipment is a must. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. This is a fast-paced work environment which demands effective multitasking and extensive guest contact. Position Requirements Refined verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. The availability to work early mornings (5:30am start time) weekends, holidays, with days off that vary from week to week, as required. Ability to follow proper cleaning procedures and sanitization, filling out order forms, as well as doing inventory. Previous hotel experience, bilingualism/multilingualism, as well as Food Safety Course are considered assets.
