Position Title: Breaker Prepared Foods PocketsPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: Florenceville Prepared FoodsRequisition ID: 32871McCain Foods (Canada) is currently looking for a Breaker to complete our team at Prepared Foods Pocket line on Shift C. The successful candidate will be trained in various areas of the Prepared Foods facility within the Pizza Pocket Line side of the business as Operator. Please note that this is a physically demanding position.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Responsible for following all safety requirements.
• Operates all of the equipment associated with the job assigned to
• Must be capable of making minor adjustments to machines to improve pocket quality
• Responsible for training in all key positions within the processing area.
• Responsible for some sanitation duties
• Troubleshoot, adjust and maintain equipment as required.
• Must follow \xe2\x80\x9cGood Manufacturing Practices\xe2\x80\x9d (GMP\xe2\x80\x99s) and Critical Control Points (CCP\xe2\x80\x99s).
• Ensure SQCDME targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
• Follow JHA\xe2\x80\x99s and work safely. Participate in STEP program (Behavioral safety observations)
• Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
• Cleaning and Sanitation of equipment. Maintaining a neat work area; daily housekeeping report of the area
• Responsible for the identification and reporting of product quality issues.
• All other duties as assigned

Your Skills & Experience:

• Grade 12 or GED required
• Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
• Knowledge of computer operations is an asset
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift approximately 35-40 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Ability to learn and function within different jobs in the plant for breaking purposes
• Ability to respond to unexpected circumstances calmly and responsibly
• Must have good mathematical skills and complete production forms accurately and neatly
• Ability to accept and embrace change in the day to day operations
• Successful completion of 90 day training period
