Job Description

The Uprising Craft Bakery is seeking for a dedicated and skilled Bread Maker to join our team in our Production Bakery in Downtown Canmore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of food preparation processes. As a Bread Maker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality bread products that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and bake various types of bread, ensuring consistency in flavor and texture. Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adjust ingredients based on production needs. Monitor the baking process, including oven temperatures and baking times, to ensure optimal results. Package finished products for display and sale, maintaining high standards of presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and provide excellent customer service. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies needed for bread production.

Skills

Experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or food preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to decorate cakes or pastries is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers when necessary. Proficient in operating kitchen equipment related to baking processes. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
