We are at the forefront of representing land developers and builders, commercial landlords and financial institutions, including all of Canada\'s largest banks.We are currently looking for an Associate Lawyer to manage our client\'s residential real estate needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Manages residential purchase, sale, and mortgage files from start to finish
• Collaborates with Partners and Associates in multiple departments (corporate, commercial, condominium, etc.) on unique files to meet client needs
• Prepares and administers agreements of purchase and sale and financing document for both institutional and private loans
• Review and execution of title searches, deeds, closing documentation and all associated processes
• Oversees the process for Applications for Absolute Title, including all related correspondence and dealing with objections
• Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and all parties to ensure smooth transactions

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

• LL.B and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada
• 2+ years of experience in residential real estate
• Strong experience with Conveyancer, Teraview, and PCLaw
• Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with supervising Partners and other departments
• Strong business acumen with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client experience focus
