The Breakdown:



The Brand Support Specialist (BSS) will be reporting to the Area Manager of Quebec. They will be tasked with supporting all aspects of the business in both sales and marketing. Based out of Quebec City, they will play an important role in the field pushing forward our SBO's, making sure we have boots on the ground where and when we need them and building and sustaining hype at wholesale.



Responsibilities:



Public speaking: Product Knowledge sessions with key retailers Product Merchandising: Ensuring Burton shows up in a premium way for the consumer Events: Running demos and private ride days throughout the season Sell-Through: Activating sales initiatives on ENDVR Budget Tracking: Ensuring travel budget is spent where Burton receives the best ROI Dealer Service: Warranty, spare parts, seeding

Previous Experience:



The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of snowboard products, is familiar with the Burton brand and is well networked within the industry. Previous experience working at a major retailer is preferred, but not mandatory. The BSS must be comfortable on a snowboard (intermediate to expert skill level), enjoy spending time on the road and is passionate about the sport and culture. They must be organized, entrepreneurial and solution oriented. A clean driving record and own vehicle is required.

Role

L'employe relevera du directeur regional du Quebec. Il aura pour tache de soutenir tous les aspects de l'entreprise, tant au niveau des ventes que du marketing. Base a Quebec, il jouera un role important sur le terrain en faisant avancer nos objectifs organisationnels, en s'assurant que nous avons une presence sur le terrain au bon moment et au bon endroit. Il aura egalement l'opportunite de creer de nouvelles relations et entretenir les partenariats d'affaires.



Responsabilites :



Prise de parole en public : Seances de formation des produits avec les detaillants Marchandisage des produits : Veiller a ce que Burton soit presente de maniere optimale au consommateur chez l'ensemble des detaillants Evenements : Organiser des demonstrations de produits et des journees de test privees tout au long de la saison Vente : Activation des initiatives de vente Suivi du budget : Veiller a ce que le budget de voyage soit depense la ou Burton obtient le meilleur retour sur investissement. Service aux detaillants : Garantie, pieces de rechange, offre de produits promotionnels

Experience anterieure :



Le candidat ideal possede une solide connaissance des produits de snowboard, est familier avec la marque Burton et dispose d'un bon reseau au sein de l'industrie. Une experience prealable chez un detaillant est preferable, mais pas obligatoire. Le SBS doit etre a l'aise sur un snowboard (niveau intermediaire a expert), aimer passer du temps sur la route et etre passionne par le sport et la culture. Il doit etre organise, avoir l'esprit d'entreprise et etre oriente vers les solutions. Un dossier de conduite impeccable et un vehicule personnel sont necessaires.
