We're looking for a
Brand Manager
who can think strategically and act decisively, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and is eager to make an impact. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who's equally comfortable developing big-picture brand plans and executing detailed retail activations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead brand strategy and execution
for Splenda across the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning and local consumer insights.
Plan and activate marketing campaigns
across digital, retail, shopper, and media channels to drive awareness, trial, and loyalty.
Execute and optimize retail media programs
in collaboration with key customers and partners (e.g., Loblaw Advance, Walmart Connect, Metro, Sobeys, etc.).
Manage the brand P&L
, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring strong ROI on marketing investments.
Collaborate cross-functionally
with sales, insights, commercialization, and agency partners to deliver best-in-class marketing programs.
Analyze brand performance, category dynamics, and competitive trends
to identify growth opportunities.
Support innovation initiatives
, including product launches, packaging updates, and new communication platforms.
Balance strategic and hands-on work
--from leading business reviews to managing creative assets and campaign execution details.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
5+ years of progressive marketing experience
in the
Canadian CPG industry
(food/beverage experience preferred).
Proven ability to
plan and execute marketing programs
within the
Canadian retail landscape
.
Experience with
retail media platforms
and shopper marketing activation is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success working in a
fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
where initiative and independence are essential.
Strong understanding of
consumer insights, brand positioning, and category management
.
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
A
self-driven, resourceful, and results-oriented
professional who thrives when balancing multiple priorities.
Ability to travel to U.S. based headquarters, access to own vehicle, must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
