Brand Manager, Mood Disorders (12 Month Contract)

We are currently looking for a qualified Brand Manager to join the Lundbeck Canada Marketing Mood Disorders team. This position is temporary (12 month contract) full-time located at our Ville Saint-Laurent head-office. The incumbent will report to the Director, Marketing & Sales, Mood Disorders. Your Position:

The Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of an integrated marketing plan supporting the commercialization of the brand in the Canadian market. Because this individual must partner with a cross-functional team, They must demonstrate a high level of collaborative behavior and live our 5 shared beliefs of being Patient-Driven, Courageous, Ambitious, Passionate and Responsible.

Brand Management (40%)

  • Implement an integrated marketing plan (includes advertising and promotion, direct marketing, sampling, social media, public relations, etc.).
  • Communicate the marketing strategy to those who are responsible for its execution (e.g. sales, medical & training etc.).
  • Select, brief, monitor and manage suppliers contracted to provide services to the marketing team.
  • Build customer-centric brand POAs & tools aligned with our strategic objectives
  • Manage the approved budget and perform analyses required to maximize brand investments.
  • Assist in the execution of market research activities designed to support and validate marketing initiatives.
Business Planning (25%)
  • Manage and oversee the internal brand planning process (meetings, consultations, strategy sessions, timeline, etc.) in order to develop a comprehensive sales function plan that provides clarity on objectives, priorities and expectations in alignment with our customer engagement approach
  • Develop a cohesive tactical plan spanning across the company\'s functions that are in alignment with the brand\'s strategic Critical Success Factors
Team leadership (20%)
  • Lead the cross-functional Brand Team and ensure strong & coordinated cross-functional collaboration internally, across our Alliance and with our global partners
  • Build & maintain good working relationships and able to build KOL network within the disease state.
Brand Monitoring & Tracking: (15%)
  • Perform regular business reviews for the brand and ensure a clear plan of action is generated and course correction is completed with urgency
  • Track the Brand KPI\'s that are crucial to the brand\'s overall success
  • Work in compliance with all business and operations
Position Qualifications:
  • University degree in communication, business and/or life sciences
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of current pharmaceutical trends and events
  • Strong knowledge of Health Canada regulations, PAAB code and IMC code of conduct as they relate to pharmaceutical marketing
  • Knowledge of the Canadian CNS market
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong planning/organizational skills
