Position Overview

As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a key supporting role in delivering memorable fan experiences at community events and off-site activations. Acting as the Brand Ambassador and spotter for our team mascot, you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun and engaging environment while helping promote the Hamilton Sports Group brand throughout the community. This position is ideal for energetic, outgoing individuals who are passionate about sports, entertainment, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary mascot spotter during events and off-site appearances, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the mascot performer, the fan, and the community engagement. Support and participate in community and promotional events, including but not limited to festivals, school visits, charity functions, and sponsor activations. Interact with fans of all ages in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner to promote the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC brands. Assist in transporting the mascot costume and activation materials as needed. Capture fan engagement moments through photos and social media support, when appropriate. Represent Hamilton Sports Group with professionalism and positivity at all times.

Qualifications

Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in customer service, promotions, Usports, OCAA, or community outreach is an asset. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are required. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
