No insurance experience? No problem! We provide full training and support to help you earn your Level 1 General Insurance License within your first 30 days, with continued development toward your Level 2 License. We welcome candidates from diverse professional backgrounds--whether you're an experienced insurance professional ready to step into leadership or a proven leader looking to build a career in a dynamic and rewarding industry.
As a Branch Team Lead, you'll play a key role in motivating, coaching, and supporting your team. Through your leadership, you'll bring focus to goals and vision while building strong relationships and driving results.
A day in the life
Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent
Coach, train, and motivate team members to meet service and sales goals
Support operational reporting and manage team targets and performance metrics
Assist the Branch Manager (or oversee objectives in their absence) and ensure daily service commitments are met
Answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answer phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes
Maintain relationships with employees to ensure quality service standards are met
Other job responsibilities as required
What you will bring to our team
3+ years of insurance brokerage experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience, OR
3+ years of leadership experience in a customer-focused environment with a willingness to obtain your insurance license
Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) is an asset
Excellent communication and time management skills
Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy
Salary Expectations -
The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
