IAA, Inc., a leading provider of loss recovery services to the insurance industry in Canada, has an opening for a Branch Supervisor at our branch location in Paradise, NL IAA is Canada\'s leading live and live-online salvage vehicle auction company with auction facilities across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. IAA\'s national service offering allows sellers to standardize processes across the country and provides buyers with Canada\'s most extensive selection of salvage vehicles. IAA has nearly 4,500 talented employees. The Branch Supervisor drives overall performance and operations for an assigned branch. This position is responsible for supporting branch planned profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The role interacts with all levels of staff and departments within IAA and is responsible for maintaining a safe and positive work environment by supervising and mentoring local staff. The Branch Supervisor supervises all office employees and at times depending on the branch size, may also supervise the yard employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, engaged, and positive work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with operational standards
- Create and maintain strong relationships with external customers/vendors including Insurance Companies, Towing Vendors & Buyers
- Design more efficient ways of processing work
- Resolve branch-level employee issues and team issues.
- Actively enforce company policy, reporting or responding appropriately to all violations or reports of violations.
- Recommend or perform personnel actions such as salary increases, performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary action.
- Collaborate effectively with various internal departments including HR, Corporate teams, and the Sales/Remarketing groups.
- Other duties as assigned per business needs.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of Supervisory experience
- Solid customer service skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Basic skills in using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Proficient in time management
- Clear communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to function well as part of a team.
- Experience or knowledge of insurance, automobile or parts industries, and general mechanical knowledge would be considered an asset.
