ProSource is largest independently owned Canadian supplier of irrigation and landscape supplies, providing a wide range of irrigation, pump, pond, lighting, and landscape products to contractors and homeowners. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Branch Manager in our Langley branch. The Branch Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving ProSource's performance and reputation within the Langley market. This position is responsible for owning branch results across sales growth, customer experience, inventory discipline, team development, and operational execution.

As the senior leader on site, the Branch Manager sets the tone for service excellence, accountability, and performance. This role leads the engagement process with contractors, develops high-performing teams, and ensures the branch operates with strong financial discipline while delivering a consistent, best-in-class customer experience.

Working in close partnership with the Director of Operations, Director of Sales, Regional Sales leadership, and vendor partners, the Branch Manager executes ProSource's regional strategy while building a strong local market presence. This role requires a hands-on, people-first leader who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and takes pride in building high-performing teams, strong customer relationships, and disciplined operations.

Key Responsibilities



Branch Leadership & Team Development



Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team across counter sales, warehouse, and administration. Set clear expectations for performance, service standards, and accountability. Build a culture rooted in ProSource's Mission, Values, and Customer Service standards. Lead by example on the sales floor and in daily branch operations. Drive engagement, trust, and ownership across the team. Partner with the Director of Operations on hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and annual reviews. Manage employee scheduling to balance customer demand, seasonal workload, and wage targets.

Sales Growth & Market Development



Own branch revenue, margin, and growth targets. Build strong relationships with key contractor accounts. Proactively generate new business opportunities and develop lead pipelines. Support outside sales and contractor sales initiatives. Drive promotion and adoption of new and existing product categories. Identify local market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities. Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with margin and growth objectives. Develop and execute local sales initiatives and customer engagement strategies.

Customer Experience & Engagement



Ensure the branch consistently delivers an exceptional, professional, and responsive customer experience. Lead daily execution of counter sales and service standards. Proactively communicate timelines, order status, and issue resolution. Personally engage with key customers and resolve escalations. Ensure critical customer commitments are visible to all internal staff. Drive continuous improvement in service speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Management



Own all branch operations including receiving, shipping, warehousing, customer pickups, deliveries, and special orders. Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, invoicing, and adjustment controls. Lead cycle count programs and inventory accuracy initiatives. Minimize inventory adjustments through process discipline and training. Manage aged and slow-moving inventory using proactive liquidation and sales strategies. Oversee inter-branch transfers and customer deliveries. Ensure warehouse, yard, counter, and office are clean, safe, and organized. Manage forklift maintenance program.

Financial Performance & KPI Ownership



Own branch financial results including: Revenue Gross Margin Operating Margin Wage targets
o Inventory turns and obsolescence

Review Sales Dashboard and NetSuite reporting weekly. Analyze customer performance vs. plan and prior year. Identify gaps and execute corrective action plans. Partner with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning.

Training, Education & Vendor Collaboration



Lead and support contractor training events, demos, and education sessions. Ensure staff product knowledge across all categories. Partner with key vendor partners on training, promotions, and growth initiatives. Participate in internal leadership and sales training programs.

Compliance, Risk & Controls



Ensure compliance with all ProSource policies and procedures. Safeguard cash, petty cash, and branch assets. Approve inventory adjustments within established approval limits. Ensure warranty processing is completed accurately and on time. Maintain building security and property standards. Implement and manage branch policies.

Communication & Cross-Functional Leadership



Serve as the primary communication link between branch staff and leadership. Proactively communicate risks, challenges, and opportunities. Share customer, employee, and supplier issues with the Director of Operations. Collaborate with Sales and Operations. Lead execution of corporate initiatives at the branch level.

Compensation



$65,000 - $70,000 annual salary 3 Weeks Paid Vacation Annual Bonus Program Health and Dental Benefits
