Job Description

BRANCH MANAGER Stanmore Equipment Ltd. is a leader in construction material handling, and aerial equipment sales, service, & rentals and we are looking for a motivated, detailed-oriented Branch Manager to oversee our growing Carlton Place location. Branch Manager responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a branch to ensure positive revenue generation and employee satisfaction
  • Provide the highest standard of customer service and continued excellence in productivity
  • Identify areas of improvement & failures
  • Report on profit and loss and operational reviews
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and employee relations
  • Maintain proper fleet inventory & condition
  • Develop and train staff on safety plans
  • Maintain federal compliance with OSHA regulations and DOT standards including company policies
  • Conduct audits
Additional duties include the following:
  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service, and profitability
  • Oversee sales & rental; efforts and business initiatives
  • Manage personnel matters
  • Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations, and drug and alcohol testing
  • Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree \xe2\x80\x93 Preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience
  • An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
  • Strong sales and customer service experience required
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic, and other systems
  • Effective leadership, motivational, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental & sales industry preferred
  • Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record
