Compensation is designed to be more than just a base salary and includes:

Incentive Plan:
Annual bonus with a 12% target based on base salary, with potential payout up to 200%, subject to individual and company performance

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to the role, internal equity, and location. The stated salary range is based on a 35-hour workweek and represents a wide range of candidate profiles. Candidates whose expectations fall outside of this range are still encouraged to apply.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Branch Manager, Commercial Insurance to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader with a strong track record of driving results and motivating teams.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who thrives on working with others, inspires continuous learning, and understands that insurance is fundamentally about people-not just policies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day team management and leadership
Manage regional Commercial Insurance operations to achieve growth and profitability targets
Implement and monitor objectives related to commission revenue, policy count, accounts receivable, book quality, and expenses
Communicate and execute strategies to ensure organizational goals are achieved
Collaborate with Commercial Insurance Managers and Team Leads to maintain high standards of service and sales performance
Analyze and resolve service, quality, and sales challenges in partnership with leadership
Lead staffing, engagement, and performance management initiatives while keeping teams informed of organizational changes
Develop and maintain succession plans for key roles
Oversee administrative responsibilities including IT, payroll, and human resources matters
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development support to direct reports
Support marketing initiatives, advertising efforts, and participation in sales trade shows
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education
5-8+ years of insurance industry experience with extensive Commercial Lines expertise
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience
CIP, CRM, or CAIB designation preferred
Working knowledge of brokerage management systems and tools (EPIC, Indio, Contact CL, Pathways, etc.)
Strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
