Job Skills / Requirements

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall branch operations and financial management and all aspects of the Paladin 24/7 security business portfolio. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Takes ownership of staff and client issues ensuring the provision of proactive and timely support and incident response.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, data integrity and accurate record keeping; respond to inquiries and request for information in an appropriate manner.
• Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services according to client needs.
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the organization by complying with federal, provincial and municipal legal requirements.
• Measures and establishes branch efficiency through analysis of branch key performance indicators and statistics.
• May be required to respond after hours in the event of an emergency
• Responsible for managing day to day operations and ensuring adherence to all contactual obligations
• Monitors accounts receivable and accounts payable for completion and accuracy.
• Maintain and understand Paladin\'s contractual obligations. This will include site visitations, and a close working relationship with Paladin\'s clients and staff.
• Lead and prioritize Paladin\'s special coverage for the branch.
• Performs other duties as requested to assist with corporate and/or branch needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in business administration or related is preferred
• Security knowledge and experience is an asset.
• Minimum of three years supervisory/managerial experience
• Working knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights Legislation, protection of privacy.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, problem-solve, and execute solutions
• Ability to write and present proposals
• Strong working knowledge in MS Office.

Education Requirements (Any)

Previous managerial/supervisory experience
Post Secondary Education

Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
